Construction: Monthly Permits
Permit activity has remained very low with the exception of Dec. 09. In September there were 242 total permits issued in the region. Keep in mind that an average month in 2006 there would have been well over 1,000 permits.
That December spike was primarily due to 800 multi-family permits being issued. Since then most of the activity was single family.
